Your third Christmas has just passed, but you won't remember it, so I'll fill you in on the highlights, at least the ones I got to share. The best was your Rapper Pout, a hilarious cross between a mean-looking, finger-twitching rap singer and an angry two-year-old. We hope it starts a YouTube trend.
In fact, though you are two, you are (at least in my presence) rarely angry. "Sweet" is the word your mom uses, though I know that won't feel like a compliment to you at 18. I would describe you as cooperative, careful, organized (you like to keep things in their place), helpful, and eager to do things for yourself. You seem much older than two, and of course, you look older. You're tall and still a bit pudgy, but that's disappearing quickly. You love physical play, like the Bear Trap, but you can also concentrate on a book. You adore Brendan, follow him around like a puppy,and occasionally eat his Legos. You have a million words, and pretty soon we'll be able to understand them all! Being with you is a lot of fun .
